1. Top 12 Foods with the Most Pesticides
and the Top 12 with the least

With summer approaching and grab n' go fruit and veggie
carts becoming more appealing. It's helpful to know which of
those fruits and veggies you can grab without worrying that
you're getting a mouthful of pesticides.

The Environmental Working Group compiled data from the
USDA Pesticide Data Program to come up with these lists. If
you'd like further information, please visit: www.foodnews.org

So here are your best and worst choices when you can't
choose organic:

12 Most Contaminated
Buy These Organic

• Apples
• Bell Peppers
• Celery
• Cherries
• Imported Grapes
• Nectarines
• Peaches
• Pears
• Potatoes
• Red Raspberries
• Spinach
• Strawberries

12 Least Contaminated
• Asparagus
• Avocados
• Bananas
• Broccoli
• Cauliflower
• Corn (sweet)
• Kiwi
• Mangos
• Onions
• Papaya
• Pineapples
• Peas (sweet)

If possible try to avoid those fruits and veggies that are
most contaminated unless you can purchase them organic.

If you are on a budget and need to limit your organic
produce, you can save some money with the least
contaminated of the conventional produce

5. FREE Stretch & Relax Class This Wed. Night

I've taken numerous private ballet classes with Charlotte,
and she is wonderful!!

Wednesday 6 -7pm: Stretch & Relax (starts April 5)

Waiting to exhale? Our stress-buster gets the kinks out with safe, gentle
stretches and relaxation led by Charlotte. Ahhhh! Stretching is such an
important part of toning muscles, preventing or healing injuries, and
promoting overall physical and emotional health. Yet stretching is the first
thing to be skipped over before or after working out or dancing. Many people
say they don't have time or do not need to stretch. Each and every person,
especially New Yorkers (!), should be stretching every day to promote
tension relief and relaxation. The class will focus on relaxing the mind and
body while stretching out the week's tensions. This class is especially good
for those who want to learn more about the right way to stretch or for those
who know they won't find the time to stretch and relax the muscles unless
they attend a class. (Please bring a mat or towel for your comfort).
