1. What You Don't Know About Recycling
I have been sitting here looking through some previous
newsletters. Many of them have exhibited a reaction in
me something like - it's been two years since I wrote
that??? I really can't believe how fast time goes by. It
doesn't wait for us, does it?
Which brings me to something I read earlier today that
I thought was quite powerful. It posed this question:
Do you ever feel like your life won't start until something
happens - until you finish school, get a certain amount
of money, acquire the position, have the perfect body,
etc.?
If so, how do you think the fulfillment of these wishes
will make your life more "real" than it is now?
Are You Waiting
I think a lot of people are waiting... waiting for some
thing - either consciously or unconsciously before they
live their life.
I think of women who hide behind their weight...all the
things they won't do because they don't think they're
thin enough.
We hide behind work, insecurity, fear, obligations....
But time doesn't wait. We get older. The adventure
passes us by.
What Could Be Different For You?
What have you put on the back shelf that is causing
you to miss out on the present? On life...now?
How would your life be different if you remembered
that - this is your life. It's happening today... not
tomorrow. Will you be present to this? What will you
do different? What will you make time for?
Don't miss out because you were too busy waiting, or
procrastinating. Maybe now is the time...

2. Self-Esteem and Body Image Workshop
One night workshop
Women only.
Self-esteem and respect are connected to everything -
from how you feel, to who you are, to the choices you
make. Respect is the opposite of self-doubt; it's being
heard, and doing what is right for you.
One night: 2 hours - activities, discussions, and journaling
exercises that help you have a clearer understanding of
who you are and how your environment and the media
affect how you see yourself. Do other women think the
same things you do? Find out on Friday night June 1
from 7-9pm.

Within the past few months I have made huge lifestyle
changes. I take time to listen to what my body needs.
My cravings for artificial sweeteners and processed foods
have diminished. I cook with all whole foods and feel
stronger, more alert, vibrant, and healthy. I have a
renewed passion for life and sense of well-being. I am
overcoming my eating disorder, exploring my spirituality,
and discovering new possibilities for a gratifying career
path. I treasure our relationship. Thank you so much for
your support.
